Before 1940, there was no school in Nangka. The children of school age attended classes in the adjoining barrios. The older people attended adult education class under Maestrong Metiong using the house of Mr. Eulalio Hernandez for the purpose. When the children reached the number enough to open first grade, the government used the same house as classroom. Miss Ester Del Rosario was the pioneer teacher in Nangka. In 1950, the government acquired a lot for the school building. But due to lack of funds, classes were held in Quonset house located in temporary sites.

The year 1954 when the education milestone of the barrio changed dramatically, received the first prefabricated school building from the administration of the late President Ramon Magsaysay. Since then, the school has continuously grown and improved; foremost of which was when the Nangka Parent -Teachers Association succeeded in having the complete intermediate grades with Mr. Rodolfo de Guzman as the first school principal. Mr. Benjamin Evangelista succeeded him, Dr. Rolenda Sarmiento assumed office when he retired, Dr. Melquiades Calugay succeeded Dr. Sarmiento and she was followed by Dr. Rosario M. Jocson. During the term of Mrs. Ruth Gollayan the construction of the 12 rooms BF building and the 9 rooms Candazo building were completed and fully utilized by the school. When Mrs. Ruth Gollayan was transferred to Marikina Elementary School, Dr. Ismaelita Rivera became the next principal. Mr. Augusto T. Mendoza took over the principalship when Dr. Ismaelita Rivera was transferred to San Roque Elementary School. On January 9, 2006. Mr. Augusto T. Mendoza was transferred to another school; Mrs. Corazon Cruz became the next school principal. She was succeeded by Mr. Rubi Parungao who served the school until his retirement on July 1, 2008. Mrs. Rosario M. Diaz became the next principal until her retirement on October 10, 2011. Dr. Benjamin C. Cruz Jr. was the officer in-charge of the school from that period up to February 22, 2012, when Mrs. Marciana R. De Guzman was transferred from Kapitan Moy Elementary School and became the 12th principal of the school, until April 2015. Mrs. Teresita J. Cervantes then became the principal of the school from March 15, 2015 to march 15, 2016. When Mrs. Teresita J. Cervantes retired from the service, Mrs. Jovita Consorcia F. Mani, EPS,  assumed office as the officer- in -charge of the school effective March 16, 2016 to September 16, 2016. From September 17, 2016 to January 27, 2020, Mrs. Maribeth C. Rosario was assigned as the school head.  Mr. Wilfredo C. Padua was assigned as the new school head from January 28, 2020 to present.
